SOME JOURNEYS ARE PLANNED. MINE FOUND ME.

I began my academic journey by pursuing ACCA, followed by an LL.B., preparing for what seemed like a conventional professional career. Yet, despite the qualifications, I knew my true calling lay elsewhere. My passion had never been confined to balance sheets or courtrooms, it had always been rooted in creativity.

Before launching my label, I joined my family’s heritage business, Hilal Silk Palace, one of Pakistan’s most established names in luxury textiles. What began as a responsibility became my greatest education. Working alongside master weavers, artisans, and craftsmen gave me a profound understanding of fabrics, craftsmanship, and the foundation upon which exceptional couture is built.

I learned that remarkable garments are not created with design alone, they begin with extraordinary textiles.

Growing up around silks, handwoven fabrics, intricate embroideries, and generations of expertise shaped the way I approach fashion today. Every fabric has a character, every weave tells a story, and every detail deserves intention.

But heritage alone does not make a designer.

Determined to master the craft, I immersed myself in every stage of garment creation. I learned directly from the skilled kaarigars whose artistry has defined Pakistan’s finest bridal couture for generations. From understanding silhouettes and construction to appreciating the precision of hand embroidery, every lesson was earned through dedication, patience, and relentless curiosity.

That journey gave birth to Talha Batla: a label founded on timeless elegance, uncompromising craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Today, every collection reflects the meeting of two worlds: a legacy of textile excellence and a contemporary design philosophy. My vision has never been to simply create beautiful garments, but to craft pieces that become part of life’s most cherished moments.

Fashion, to me, is more than clothing.

It is heritage, craftsmanship, and emotion woven into every stitch.
